SLE - SEND / Communication/ Literacy 

INTRODUCTION            

Having trained as a primary teacher, I have been fortunate in having had the opportunity to teach across all age ranges (3-19 years) within Sherbourne Fields School, delivering a broad range of curriculum subjects to students with special educational needs. 

Through my various roles and substantial experience, I have been able to develop my own practice, guiding, supporting and motivating colleagues in Communication and the Sensory Curriculum.  I am passionate about providing students with the best possible learning opportunities appropriate to their SEND, and by working collaboratively, we use every opportunity to build on and develop student’s life skills.  I believe that sharing and developing good practice can help transform schools and the lives of opportunities of students within it.
